Raphinha after first defeat of the season: It was a good test and we played well
Barcelona captain Raphinha acknowledged PSG’s quality after the 4-2 defeat in Paris, the Catalans’ first loss of the season. Despite the result, the Brazilian believes his team performed well.
Barcelona’s unbeaten run came to an end at the Parc des Princes. After the 4-2 loss to Paris Saint-Germain, captain Raphinha gave credit to the opponents, describing them to Movistar as a very well-prepared team.
The Brazilian, however, doesn’t think Barça played badly. In his view, it was a clash between two sides who like to control the ball and a good test for the Catalans. “It was a good test, and I think we played well,” he said.
Raphinha pointed out that the team knew how difficult it would be to face the two-time European champions in front of their own fans. The aim was a win or at least a draw, but the winger stressed there is no reason to panic. Barcelona will now analyze the match with the coach to make the necessary improvements.
