Good news for Levski: two injured players are returning to action

Nikola Serafimov and Akram Bouras will undergo additional examinations before rejoining Levski's training sessions. Both are expected to be available to head coach Julio Velázquez very soon.

Two of Levski's injured players, Nikola Serafimov and Akram Bouras, will undergo additional medical examinations before being cleared to train with the rest of the team. The club expects both to be ready for head coach Julio Velázquez within days.

The center-back suffered an elbow injury during the 2-1 win over Slavia on September 2. Fortunately, he avoided a more serious injury, but he missed the call-up to the North Macedonia squad for the Nations League matches. The Algerian midfielder, meanwhile, has been sidelined for nearly two months after an injury sustained in the 3-0 victory over Septemvri on August 1. Because of this, he missed a total of 13 matches: seven in the league, five in European competitions and the Super Cup match.

The absence of the 24-year-old midfielder was felt especially in the games on the international stage. Before the break, the team was boosted by the return of Oliver Kamdem and Moustapha Sangaré, and Mehdi Moubarik is also ready to help the side. The only player who remains in the treatment room is Radoslav Kirilov.
